Employment Transportation Services

Through the Wisconsin Employment Transportation Assistance Program (WETAP) Kenosha Achievement Center provides a variety of mobility services to help ease transportation barriers to employment.  Persons with an income 200% of poverty and below, who are employed or participating in a vocational assistance program may be eligible for the following services:

  • Consultation & assistance from a Mobility Manager to problem solve transportation related issues
  • Financial assistance to repair a vehicle used to maintain employment
  • Receipt of a bicycle to commute to and from work or training

Specialized shuttle services are available for disabled workers employed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, youth participating in Summer Youth Employment Program, and participants of the Gateway Technical College Boot Camp Programs.
